Grimick is a four piece, Folk/Roots/Pop band, based in Sydney

An acoustic guitar and Griff’s soaring vocal are often all that is needed to deliver a story with the depth and soul to move an audience. Yet, Grimick are not afraid to embellish their essentially acoustic/folk style with arrangements of strings, piano, trumpet and harmonies which stream from Mick’s endless store of musical ability; ripping guitar solos, riffs and delicate acoustic counter melodies from Dr Fear; and solid drum and earthy percussive rhythms delivered by Matt Bulkeley.

But it is Griff’s vocal ability that often gains the most attention. With seemingly no upward limit to his range, Griff is capable of both power and tenderness – delivered in a manner which is cheeky at times, but always honest and passionate.
